Shree Periakaruppan is the creator and owner of Foodology. She is an IT Director by profession and has been on the management role for over 10 years. Juggling between her IT career and raising her children, she always had great passion for cooking. She has lived and worked in Washington DC for over a decade, during which time she enriched her passion by taking numerous cooking classes pertaining to world cuisine. After moving back to Chennai, she started working on a plan to create a cooking studio that would allow people to vision and experience cooking as an entertainment. She is also a Celebrity Chef, and has hosted over 300 cookery shows in Sun, Raj, Puthuyugam and Puthiyathalaimurai channels. She has also published a cookbook in Tamil, "Ulaga unavugal Ulnatttu Rusiyil" and the book had won the best cookbook award for the year 2016. Her book "I Cook", a complete illustrated cookbook for children was launched in November of 2017  


Executive Chef: Chef Naren

Chef Naren started his culinary journey at the age of 18, trained as commis chef in Arabic cuisine. He has been a Chef De partie in international cuisine, garde manger for cold kitchen. He has worked in reputed five star hotels both in India and gulf countries. He is now the Head Chef for Foodology!

Chef BeeBee Martinent

Chef Bee loves and cooks all cuisines, authentic in style. She is famous for serving Laksa, Chicken Rice, Cheesecake & Chilli Crab. She previously ran a malaysian fast food joint called Bee's Kopitiam. She is a Malaysian born, married to French and curretly resides in Chennai for the last 17 years.

Tasneem Ayub

Tas Aunty! A perfect blend of the vintage and contemporary, she is filled with love for people, for food and for life with the biggest heart you will ever see. She dons quite a few hats- a wife, a mom, a mom in law, a friend and mentor. Her culinary skills need no introduction-her biryani, haleem, zaffrani badam, colostrum sweet are few dishes that will leave your taste buds tingling for more!

Kamalika Krishmy

Winner of Super Chef Chennai 2013! Kamalika Krishmy needs no introduction! Her pure passion for food and cooking made her one of the best in the field. She is one of the most sorted out instructor for desserts, baking and Indian Food!

Shyamala Sivaraman

Shyamala owns a Masters Degree in Geography, but took to teaching baking and cooking due to the interest in the art. What initially started as a hobby became her profession and there has been no looking back in the last 30 plus years. She has organised more than 11 cake exhibitions in chennai and won a number of prizes in cookery contests. She had run a bakery for over 6 years and trained more than 25000 students from all over the country and a few from abroad.

Senthil Kumar

Chef Senthilkumar Rajendran started his career in Hospitality Industry from 2003. Trained well in Oriental Cuisine and European Cuisine. He has worked in multinational hotels in India as a CDP. Also worked in Royal Caribbean Cruise line (RCCL),USA as a Sous Chef. Now, he is our Head Chef at Foodology.
